EXPERIMENTS WITH HOT CONCRETE. 

In this expansion of ENCI's quality centre in Botlek, for the first time in the Netherlands Hot concrete applied. In Hot Concrete, sand and gravel have been replaced by expanded glass. This results in a well-insulating concrete, 70% lighter than normal concrete. We also designed a slender staircase of Ultra High Strength Concrete (UHSB) This allows ENCI to test and show the application of these concrete types to their visitors in addition to their daily experiments with the composition of concrete. 

We also designed a pouf arrangement in collaboration with Allard de Goeij/PRO and Rob Korver/AREA for the Bouwrai 2015 and a proposal for a pavilion for TU Eindhoven in 2016. 

These projects were initiated by Hans Köhne of the Cement & Concrete Centre.
