PROMINENT CORNERS. In the heart of Amsterdam, near Waterlooplein, a very extensive housing project has been realized. The main architect, atelier PRO from The Hague, asked three offices ( Köther and Salman, Van der Waals/Zeinstra and our office ) to develop building blocks for the part on the Valkenburgerstraat. Our contribution consists of three corner solutions. The tall, transparent architecture of these corner pavilions "Iris and Eelco" radiates a great openness to the outside world.
