Marquis
A FOLD-OUT CARAVAN. In 1985, the "De Fantasie" foundation in Almere organized a design competition entitled "Temporary Living." The Marquis was one of the winning entries. With awnings and floors folded up, the little house is as mobile as a caravan. Once arrived at its destination, the floor space can be tripled.
The Markies was awarded the audience award Designprijs Rotterdam 1996. Since then, the Marquis has been part of many international exhibitions and a new version for the market is being worked on. website: markies.co.uk
