Mobiles in architecture guide

The MARKIES and the OPENHOUSE are included in the architecture guide Almere Architecture City.  Almere presents itself through a selection of the 100 best buildings. From the eco-district Oosterwold to the industrial Rooie Donders by Liesbeth van der Pol, and from the elevated City Center by OMA (Rem Koolhaas). Internationally renowned architecture firms such as Alsop, MVRDV, and SANAA, as well as Dutch architects like Hertzberger, Rohmer, and Van Zuuk, are featured. Beyond the architectural highlights, the guide also points out the city's most charming spots: the Klokhuis, designed by children, and the Bivakhuisje, where Almere's early pioneers lived. 

This way, one discovers the most striking buildings, hidden gems, and countless facts and anecdotes about Almere and its young monuments. The guide can be ordered from NAI 010 publishers and was presented at the Nieuwe Bibliotheek in Almere on Nov. 30.
