Booosting

Booosting is a special foundation in the Netherlands that has been working to promote innovation and renewal in the construction industry since its founding in 1989. Its founders Jan Westra, Jan Brouwer, Friso Kramer and Mick Eekhout, saw the need to modernize construction by promoting collaborations between industry, designers and architects. This initiative arose from the observation that the construction sector at the time was lagging behind in terms of industrial development and innovation. 

Regular meetings and company visits are organized, giving members the opportunity to network, share knowledge, and be inspired to create innovative solutions. Examples of innovative projects that Booosting has worked on since 1993 include the following: Keuzekozijn and Warmbeton. Additionally, the membership with Booosting has influenced our development of the Rabosteen, the Floriade pavilion, and the façade system for the employment agency
