A LOOK UNDERWATER. The design of an insight and viewpoint for the Eastern Scheldt consists of a long floating staircase that at a distance seemingly disappears through a hole in the water (or ground) to the bottom. Getting closer, visitors see that they can observe the underworld below the water's surface. Those who dare to enter this exciting attraction are rewarded with a phenomenal insight.

The design was awarded in April 2000 with the first prize of the ideas competition Eastern Scheldt National Park.
