CONVERSION OF HISTORIC BUILDINGS ON THE WATERWAY. The in many ways different buildings on Maassluis harbour have been linked together to house a pharmaceutical and cosmetics company. During the renovations, the essential qualities of the properties, both internally and externally, were preserved. A transparent connection between the properties not only leaves the existing facades intact, but also subtly reveals something of the interior. The premises were recently converted into the Hotel Maassluis.

Year built: 1989-1999 various renovations
